| Should I buy this Civic | 15Relevance | 5 years ago | YT453 | Submit Your Question HERE | |
| Should I go for this 2016 Honda civic EX sedan with 239,680 miles? It is priced at $7,500 and from what I have looked into, there is no accident history to report, no other damages, and no specific events associated with the vehicle. The vehicle seems to have been leased throughout its lifetime. There are some documents (if you click the link) that shows more information on the car. I would like to know if this would be a good purchase? Or maybe I should go test drive it just to make sure it still runs properly? | |||||
| Answer to: Camry XSE or Lexus ES350 | 13Relevance | 4 years ago | infinitifxfan | Submit Your Question HERE | |
| Toyota builds good cars in the USA, not as good as the ones in Japan but still good. Between the camry and Lexus, I would save the cash and buy the camry XSE, since, from a powertrain perspective, they are almost identical and as they age you will spend less money on repairs with the camry vs the ES 350. Also, I think the camry XSE looks cooler than the Lexus ES unless you maybe buy the F sport model which is much more expensive. | |||||

| Answer to: Toyota Camry 2007 - Sell it? | 13Relevance | 4 years ago | Chuck Tobias | Submit Your Question HERE | |
| The problem is that while you can get a higher price for your camry, you're going to have to pay commensurately more for a Highlander and buying a used vehicle is always a risk. On the financial end get a quote from someplace like Carmax to get at least a rough idea of what you can get for your camry, then take a look at what it will cost to buy a Highlander. I believe that even getting a good price for your camry you'll be in for some sticker shock. Frankly I think your gut is right. I wouldn't be in any hurry to get rid of a camry that's in good condition. | |||||
| Answer to: Is 2017 Toyota Camry a good buy? | 13Relevance | 4 years ago | Whatchamacallit | Submit Your Question HERE | |
| It is the last model year of that generation of Toyota camry and should be the most refined, before the new (current) generation came out (starting with model year 2018) and switched to the new (and unproven) 8-speed AT and also new (and unproven) Dynamic Force Engine. I don’t think you can do better. Still make sure to have a good, honest independent mechanic thoroughly check it out esp. with a high level scan tool and give his OK before you buy. | |||||
| Corolla or Civic? Transmission and overall | 15Relevance | 6 years ago | MechanicInTraining2090 | Submit Your Question HERE | |
| Hi, I'm looking to buy either a 2011-2013 or 2015-2016 Corolla. Or I am looking for a 2009-2011 or 2016-2017 civic. The different years are because I'm going to either spend around $10 000 for the older models or $15000 for the newer ones. Just not too sure yet. I was wondering which car is better? I have been told Toyota Corolla but I like the look of the civic. But, is the corolla world's better? Or about the same? I want the 2.0 L civic, non turbo. Automatic for both cars. I'm just concerned about the transmission for the civic. I know Toyota has CVT ... | |||||
| Answer to: Honda civic or toyota corrola | 15Relevance | 6 years ago | m_tokyo | Submit Your Question HERE | |
| They are both excellent vehicles. In early 90 Honda pushed quite a bit on sales in Europe for civic and they sold plently. I had a new civic VTec back in the days too and drove like a maniac. It was a zippy car and by now the civic might be burning some oil, but not a major deal if you change it regularly, might not even need a top up between oil changes. Have an independent mechanic checked them before you buy. If it was a car for me I would go for the civic, if was for my sister the corolla. | |||||

| I'll def see what can be done. I was looking at other Toyotas and Hondas as well but I was worried since most are 100k plus miles and for a bit more. For instance: 1. 2016 Honda civic 119k miles for $14500 2. 2010 Toyota Corolla 112.5k miles for $8500 3. 2010 Toyota Corolla 73k miles for $12000 4. 2013 Corolla 90k miles for $13000 5. 2013 Scion xB 10 series 83k miles for $13000 6. 2015 Corolla 85k miles for $14000 7. 2014 Corolla 88.5k miles for $14000 8. 2012 civic 96k miles for $14500 9. 2014 camry 99k miles for $15000 10. 2014 civic 115k miles $ ... | |||||

| ... 266k miles on it anyway and I was 18 so I drove like a maniac lol - 2013 Hyundai Sonata 2.0t : Only owned it for a month. To this day, it was my favorite car I owned with all the bells and whistles and an insane amount of power that I didn’t expect to get out of a Hyundai. It ran fine but then randomly caught on fire while I was driving down the freeway just 4 days before Christmas 2017. - 2013 Nissan Altima SV : only had it for 7 months and the transmission started to go out at only 80,000-ish miles. I sold it while it was on its last legs and immediate ... | |||||
| Answer to: Will a brand new Honda Civic typeR last me forever? | 15Relevance | 4 years ago | Dan | Submit Your Question HERE | |
| you think one of the new civic type r’s will last me forever if i take care of it? No, they're decent but they do not last forever. Definitely NO. If we are talking about civic type R kind of money (around $35k), then the civic is as close as it gets. If you're willing to spend more, and it has to be a sports car, the $45k 3.5L V6 Lexus IS 350 is the closest to it. But quite honestly, if you want something that's sporty to drive and lasts forever, the camry has over 200 horsepower and the powertrain on that thing is close to bulletproof. | |||||
| Almost bought a 2000 Camry with only 105,000km on it. | 13Relevance | 5 years ago | Kimmer6 | Submit Your Question HERE | |
| I was shopping because the A/c evaporator on my V70 is leaking and it's an expensive fix. I came across an old 2000 camry 6cly in excellent shape. I almost bought it but then I thought, why replace a 23 year old V70 with A/c problems with a 21 year old camry. I had second thoughts and pulled out of the deal. I thought, the A/C and heater core on the camry could go on and on forever or it could fail next week and I'd be in the same boat and $5K poorer. Since there was no way of guaranteeing these under dash parts on the camry, I decided against it. | |||||

| Definitely the camry. My dad was also trying to decide between a 2018 Mazda 6 and a 2018 Toyota camry and I talked him into the camry. I got a 2019 camry myself a week later lol. Toyota makes the most reliable cars out of any brand. Mazda has been getting better lately but they still aren’t at the same level as Honda or Toyota. | |||||

| Answer to: Tesla Model Y Rides Like Crap | 14Relevance | 5 years ago | Brandon.King101 | Submit Your Question HERE | |
| Basically any compact or subcompact car in my opinion rides like crap and they are uncomfortable due to their small size and cheap feeling seats. Honda civics, Toyota Corollas, Mazda3, Toyota Yaris, Honda Fit, etc. I have ridden in or driven every single one of those cars I listed and I don’t like them. I had a 2013 Honda civic and I gave it to my brother, despite it never having any issues, because I didn’t like how it rode and I was never able to get used to the claustrophobic cabin or the uncomfortable seats. Even on smooth roads, I could feel everything ... | |||||
