Hi Scotty. Enjoy your videos. I live in Toronto, Canada. What are your thoughts of a Base 2020 Subaru Crosstrek 6sp manual transmission with 3,000 km? And a fully synthetic oil change done after 1,000 km break-in?
Well, … I have absolutely nothing negative to say about 2020 Subaru Crosstrek. Very good vehicle, in fact. Perfect for Canadian winters. Fun to drive. Question I have is, … circumstances: new car, specked to one’s liking, prompt preventive service, low kilometrage, … and now for sale? Hmmn, …
It very well may be an opportunity of a life time in getting this car, … or not. Serious accident perhaps? Stollen and recovered? Et alia. Dunno, … one has to consider possibility. One needs to know more. Just some immediate thoughts, …
F.S.
Those Crosstreks are awesome cars with a manual transmission. The AWD system works fantastic in the snow and ice. Do routine oil changes on that Crosstrek with full synthetic oil every 5K miles. It should last you a good long time and be very reliable!
3,000 km is only 1,864 miles. Are you asking about reliability of this vehicle or are you asking why it is for sale with that low mileage?
Regarding reliability, see here:

Some consider the vehicle underpowered with that 2.0 L H4 engine.
Both statements above are spot on. My opinion of Subaru is they have surpassed Honda but haven’t reached Toyota overall quality yet. The 2.5 motor paired with a manual transmission is a bulletproof couple. And apparently Subaru has fixed the annoying head gasket issue so honestly if that vehicle checks out clean. If you take care of it who knows how many miles it could rack up before giving out.
Whats the difference between the price of that and a new one? The car itself is good but it only has 1800 miles on it.
