USB port previously would both charge and connect to infotainment screen but now does not work at all. I would leave the usb cable in the port and just stopped working one day. I am still able to connect to the infotainment and sound system via blueotooth and charge phone via the vehicle's cigarette outlet. How can I fix this?
The fuses are fine and there is no dirt and usb port is not loose.

If the vehicle is still under warranty, have them fix it for free.

Well, they really don't make those things all that repairable. For my knowledge, you'd have to buy the whole little assembly that it fits into from Ford. Or you could just take it apart and rewire it with a different USB port
If the dealer doesn’t cover under warranty I may try that.
