I wanted to go to a pick-a-part place and find an IAC valve for my 1995 Windstar, instead of buying a new one since I don't know if it'll fix my issue anyway. But the place near me doesn't have the same year Windstars as I do, and the IAC valves on what it does have have a different design. Is there a model of car that uses the same IAC valve as a 1995 Windstar? Or, do all cars use entirely different IAC valves than every other car? Is there a valve of a different design that I could substitute and have it still work correctly?
Which engine?

The above compatibility tables for vehicles with Motorcraft IAC valves.
All the best!
It was the 3.8, but you beat me to it. {pear}
go to rockauto.com and it'll tell you vehicle compatibility
I don't see a function on that website that compares parts from different vehicles.
It's not a separate fuction. You just look up your vehicle and part and then click on the part number. It shows you all compatible vehicles.
Oh, I see now. 😎
... said the blind man to the deaf dog
I took the advice of ya'll's guys and RockAuto and found the only Lincoln Continental at the pick-a-part with a compatible IAC and got that.
