Plain dodge and my brother ripping on it resulted in him replacing the engine at 100k due to him driving pissing coolant on the road  thinking he could make it home and blew it at a light a mile away.Â
Thus was replaced by a goodish mechanic and has lasted him to 155k the motor had 75k before going in.Â
Now we are having overheating issues again and my brother wants it gone but can’t afford as he has already dumped 800$ on motor mounts and top radiator cap coolant pipe at the top, and a thermostat housing just trying to get it back and not pissing coolant for a second time to trade the junker in 🙂 🙂 🙂 this was done just a week  ago . He is overheating a third time now and stopped driving once again and don’t know the issue he is not pissing coolant yet and is just having it overheat I believe it could be a thermostat, radiator fan or a relay or fuse  and what was the original diagnosis to the 2nd the issue water pump 💦 my brother skimped on changing it because it was 60$ and I guess something happened where it wasn’t changed by the mechanic and diagnosed further and found the thermostat housing was the issue.Â
Is there anything here that would point me in the right direction just tryna help my brother out he rlly is not very knowledgeable on cars at all.

If the fans are still spinning and the radiator is still holding coolant there's either an issue with the thermostat, water pump, or head gasket if its still overheating. More than likely its not a relay or fan control switch if it still kicks on.
