I have heard you say that a used Toyota sedan is a good option, what about a used RAV4 or Highlander?

The 2001 to 2005 Pontiac Aztek is a hands down winner for its great styling and head gasket softness
The RAV 4 is Toyota's best-selling vehicle, and the Highlander is right behind it. Both are built with the same engines, transmissions, electronics, etc. as the sedans - but are available with 4 wheel drive, which might be worthwhile up in Minnesota. I think a good example of either would give you excellent service.

I personally prefer smaller vehicles, so I'd go with the RAV4. But if you need the extra seats, I'd go with the Highlander.
for used rav 4 just dont get 07-11 model year because those ones burnt oil, the highlanders had diff engines.
