I have a CVT transmission when it's time to change the fluid should I just change it or flush it out? I've heard flushing it out completely can cause damage.

The flush is not a good option unless the transmission is not working fine and this is your last shot before rebuilding it replacing the transmission.

Regardless of year, make, model, or milage, never ever flush an engine or transmission. Do a drain and fill.

Difficult to answer without knowing the car's; year, make, model, mileage, etc.

Depends on the vehicle. Some don't give you an option.
