[Solved] Why won't my 96' Celica Stay Running?

I have a 1996 Toyota Celica GT 2.2L 5 Speed Manual Transmission 5sfe engine. It has 206,600 miles on it. 
I recently replaced the fuel pump, fuel filter, TPS Sensor, Air Filter, MAF Sensor, MAP Sensor, removed the carburetor and cleaned the IAV value, new distributor, new spark plugs and spark plug wires and  lastly cleaned all the connectors on each sensor and the sensors themselves.
In addition had all the belts replaced, timing belt with a retime, and lastly the water pump replaced at 206,000 miles this past Feb 2023.

I  currently have codes P1300  Igniter Circuit Malfunction No. 1 and P0340 Camshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Bank 1 or Single Sensor.

The P1300 code is new to me. the code P0340 has been a constant code that will not go away. I have replaced the distributor twice, with both being new distributors, and still the check engine light remains and as does the codes.

I will turn on the car, it starts, and after about 10-15 seconds the RPM gage starts to spike and the engine begins to shake and eventually stalls. I again try to recrank the engine and it will not start. Sometimes I hear a pinging noise coming from the distributor cap and the PRM gage arm starts to spaz out a bit. Eventually the car will start but only after a few tries to get it started. Once started it runs like a champ and sounds great!

I also noticed when I replacing the valve cover gasket and spark plugs gaskets, that the number 3 fuel injector connector was loose. Upon further inspection found the clip that's clips the connector onto the fuel injector broken and would not clip. I could freely pull it right off. 

At the end of the day, I took the Celica to a Toyota dealership where the technician who works on older Toyota's told me I might have a possible bad ECM and or bad wiring harness and they both might possibly need to be replaced. 
 

I watched one of your latest YouTube videos about fully draining the ECM with a resistor and have ordered one to fully drain the ECM down to 0 and factory reset it's thinking to have the codes erased and possibly have everything working as it should.

 

Is there something I am missing or need to check to have this Classic Celica running for another 200,000 miles without it having constant stalls?

Well the problem is it's so old. The diagnostic system isn't that good. But for my experience, usually it's the distributors that break down on those things. That's one of the few computerized systems on that car. But of course you'd want to pressure test the fuel pump. Check the electronics to the fuel pump and the electronics to the fuel injection system. There's a lot of things that can go wrong. Unfortunately, even a guy like me can't use this. Nancy, scan tools on that and all has to be tested piece by piece with meters and oscilloscopes

Scotty! Quick Update! 
Found one problem after taking a glance! The connector to the camshaft position sensor, located inside the distributor, I unwrapped the electrical tape to find that the previous owner or mechanic that worked on it didn’t do such a good job on the wiring.. so I resliced the wires going to the connector and WALA it fixed the problem and the check engine light went way!

 

so I thought..

 

The next morning the check engine light came back as well as it would not start or run whatsoever. I said okay this has to be a bigger problem.. like the ECM possibly.. so I pulled the ECM out and sent it in to get refurbished. While I had the ECM out I noticed there was a OPENING CIRCUIT RELAY that was also attached to the ECM mourning brackets. Come to find out they discontinued the part.. this opening relay I’m assuming goes to the fuel pump if I’m not mistaken. I managed to go to the local junkyard and pull two of these relays just in case. Better be safe than sorry! 
Once the ECM came back from being refurbished, I reattached the ECM mounting brackets and attached the new (used) OPENING CIRCUIT RELAY. I reconnected the battery and to my surprise it worked! It fixed the WHOLE thing! After countless hours and money spent later on other parts it was the ECM and the OPENING CIRCUIT RELAY!! 

I’ll update the post to make sure it’s still a success!!
