| After finding out that my poor 2003 Rav4 has had his mileage tempered from 400.000km to 150.000km (hahaha) i decided to sell it, as it was also kinda slow for me, runs perfect otherwise. I was thinking to get either a 2.4 Accord or 2.5 is250, wich one you think is the most reliable? I can only find high mileage(200k+ km) at affordable prices. THANK YOU!! | |||||

| Hey Scotty I currently have 2008 Lexus is250 awd. Just recently I replaced the ac compressor on the car. At first it was blowing out cold and now a couple off days later it blows out lukewarm most of the time and makes the car idle pretty bad do you have any idea why? | |||||

| I’ve got an auto 2007 Lexus is250 awd with 206k miles. Purchased it a month ago, everything has been decent did notice sometimes the tranny was slow to shift into/more so out of 3rd gear; no check engine or issues. Last week short drive to a friends house, car sat for a couple hours started it up with check vsc and check engine. Had the codes scanned came back with p0761- shift solenoid c and p2714- pressure control solenoid D. Tranny shop advised to change all solenoids and valve body-estimated $3k not including time to get the back ordered parts. Help! I’m ... | |||||

| I have a 07 Lexus is250 awd with around 170950k miles. I bought it used a few days ago everything seems to be running smoothly expected for a few minor things. When going at low speeds the trans might stutter a little. And at start up / crank up you will hear a weird gargle sound. Just wanted to know if it’s anything I should worry about and I also was wondering what is some maintenance I should immediately do. And should I flush the transmission? | |||||

| Hey Scotty, love your channel, I got a 2006 is250 recently and I get the problem code p2757, a torque converter code lock up solenoid stuck off, I replaced both the SLU and SLT solenoids myself and replaced the fluid to the correct level. And I still get the code every other drive. Do you have any ideas what else it could possibly be? | |||||

| I am thinking about trading my 2013 Hyundai Veloster base model that I put a few mods on performance wise and cosmetic wise for a 2007 Lexus is250 the problem is my Veloster has 64k miles on it and the Lexus almost has 200k on it . I have always wanted a Lexus and it would be nice to have but I need your professional opinion on wether you think it’s a good idea or not. | I have a 2006 lexus is250 and the engine light comes on with the vcs warning when I plug in my code reader it comes up with the code p0420 catalyst system efficiency below threshold. I was wondering in your experience what is the most likely to be the problem the car has 49000 miles so i dont think the catalytic converter will be bad yet and i assume its most likely to be a sensor gone bad like the o2 but wanted to check before i start playing the parts lottery. | I have a 2007 lexus is250 and i recently just filled my coolant reservoir and i noticed a leak when i was at a gas station and stepped in it so its a pretty big leak but my coolant reservoir isn’t low, im not running the ac so i know its not that but the liquid coming out doesnt really have a color but feels kind of oily and is leaking between my front tires. It doesnt have a smell. Can someone give me some advice on what to check? | |||||

| What is a gdi in a lexus is250? i thought a gdi is a type of diesel engine. Also i've had a few cars plus ive driven my parents cars and when i floor it it never smelt like gasoline. Also when i search it up it says it can be a possible leak so I dont think its something i can ignore. | |||||

| ... ticking noises from the front grill, it's pretty loud and noticeable. Here is some more info on the car. It has 113,000km. Had one owner. No scans come up. It is a automatic. I had the dealers mechanic check again and he's trying to play it off saying they checked everything and the ticking is injectors and they didn't smell any gasoline. I have good ears and a nose plus i noticed the issues on several different occasions.
