I bought a 2004 Scion xB 140k, my third one, (still own the other two) guess I'm hooked these 2004-6 xB toasters. This one sat around a bit. A squirrel decided to live in it for a bit chewed up the main loom just outside the firewall. spliced and heat shrunk and taped the loom connections. Someone removed the Cat and tried to weld a strait tube and the front O2 is gone, wires are there. The rear O2 is there and hooked up. The engine starts runs and drives but has a RPM limit kick in at 3000. I did a scan and I did a coil swap on all 4 cylinders (because of the P0352 error code) from my other Lava Orange 2004 and the RPM limiter went up to 3500 almost 4000. I'm kind of trying to decide what to do to solve my problem. Do I get a cat weld it in and weld in a O2 bung and replace the O2 sensor because I'm thinking that might be the problem. kind of confused as to why there is no O2 error code. I'm pretty sure colors were spliced right by the fire wall unless the white with black wires were specific and needed to be hooked to the right one, I think there were at least 6 or 7 i spliced that were the same size. If you can provide any positive input I would greatly appreciate it.
Love the Videos !!!
( my wife is a big fan as well. she found the first 2004 lava orange Scion xB.)
Thank you so much for your support to the service families as well.
Well unfortunately you could just be pissing in the wind with that car when the squirrel at e through the wiring easily could have shorted computer modules with all of those things messed up there's no trouble codes shows that computers probably fried and the wiring's probably messed up it may not be worth attempting to fix it
. But if it runs good enough what the heck drive it it would never be able to pass any type of emissions test if you live in an area that is a mission testing but if you don't what the heck just drive it
