[Solved] Crankshaft Position Sensor

Topic starter

Hey Scotty!

My name is Nick, I'm a young man. I have a 2007 Toyota Camry SE, and I've recently went to Autozone in my local area and scanned for why my check engine light was on.

The code came back 'P0335'

Which we already know is a problem with the Crankshaft Position Sensor.

BUT, I've been a little concerned because my car really hasn't been giving me any trouble though. I haven't experienced bad start ups or any of the problems it should show when this problem (or code as you should say) appears.

How long can I go without replacing this part until it really does start to show the problems that the Crankshaft Position Sensor is going bad?

Right now, Im pretty broke. Dont have the money to replace the part at the moment. I get payed in about a week maybe a week and a few days.

Can I find the part cheaper, than what autozone has told me it would be which is $92.99 ?

Please, get back to me as soon as possible!

I enjoy watching your videos, you've taught me a lot within the last few months of having my car! I have subscribed to your channel and you've always been my first go to when its a "Do it yourself fix"

Thank you for your time reading this!

Go to rockauto.com and buy the same brand they offer for about half the price. Or get the oem replacement for a little more.

The crank position sensor is important as it tells the car timing information.

@cjbman
