White smoke from fuel injector 1 after replacing

I replaced my fuel injector 1 with 2nd hand, just last week. 

 

Yesterday by car broke down it was leaking fuel from improperly tightened fuel injector. So I had it towed to my house, and was eventually able to fix it. 

I remember when re-securing my fuel injector, that a batch of fuel entered the fuel injector hole. 

I tried my best to clean up the area, but somehow some fuel ended up entering the fuel injection port. 

 

I was able to stop the fuel leak after tightening the injector properly this time. 

 

Yesterday I saw a bit of white smoke from tail pipe, which doesn't happen anymore. 

 

But today morning I start driving the car for half an hour, and I can see smoke coming directly from the injector 1 itself. 

 

I am a bit paranoid, but I have a suspicion that it could be the excess fuel that dropped into the injector 1 port yesterday when I was removing and returning back the fuel injector.

The idling is smooth, but the engine is running at 85 degrees Celsius when idling. Normal engine temperature is supposed to be 75 degrees when idling. 

So the engine oil temperature is increasing when idling, and I can see white smoke coming from the injector 1. 

 

I hope it is nothing seriously wrong. 

 

It could be the excess fuel which dropped into the injector hole yesterday, is probably getting burnt out and engine is auto adjusting itself for the injector ratio?

 

Any thoughts?

 

I also had fuel drop into the 'screw' bracket hole yesterday which secures the injector. I used an air gun to try and remove as much fuel that's in the hole, before securing back the bracket.

@imperator It's probably the same car in his previous post, "2012 Kia Sorento diesel 4 cyl 2.2L, odometer 682,000 km on original engine". This looks like a different problem, white smoke not reported in the other post.

yup could just be residues burning off. I would give it a few days and see what happens.
