| 2004 Subaru Outback cooling fan issues | 23Relevance | 5 years ago | Redarrow455 | Submit Your Question HERE | |
| Hello I have a 2004 subaru outback with a h6 3.0l engine and an automatic transmission. My a/c stopped blowing cold air and the a/c condenser fan stopped working alongside the a/c compressor. I changed the fan and the compressor still wouldn’t work and the a/c blowed hot air. I changed the relays and fuses the correspond to the condenser fan(in both the fuse box under the hood and drivers footwell). I watched a video where it said to connect two green clips near the steering column to put the relay system into test mode. After I did that and disconnected the ... | |||||

| 2016 Subaru Outback | 23Relevance | 5 years ago | Tyler1855 | Submit Your Question HERE | |
| Scotty, I have a 2016 subaru outback 2.5Liter Limited 60,000 miles. Currently getting about 17 MPG on average. This is almost 10 MPG lower than what the EPA suggests it should be. We frequently remote start the car and let it warm up for about 15 minutes. Does this affect gas mileage? Oil was just changed, any thoughts on what could be causing this? Thanks | |||||
| 2006 Subaru Outback 2.5i 4AT 193K rough idle and low gas mileage | 23Relevance | 5 years ago | reidanderson2 | Submit Your Question HERE | |
| I have a 2006 subaru outback 2.5i with 193k miles throwing a p0172 (System too rich bank 1) and p0420 (Low cat efficiency). The spark plugs and wires are new (>10k miles) as well as the air filter. MAF is reading fine. I'm thinking its the upstream A/F sensor, but I'm not 100% sure. What would be the next steps to diagnose this issue? What do you think about these two codes being related? Thanks. | |||||

| Sport Shifting to Slow 2008 Subaru Outback Down | 23Relevance | 5 years ago | Corv-aru | Submit Your Question HERE | |
| I have a 2008 subaru outback with 100,000 miles, base 2.5i engine and automatic transmission. I downshift using the sport shifting mode to slow the car and not use the brakes as much. I've kept the transmission fluid fresh. Understanding that brakes are cheaper than transmission, am I wearing excessively/damaging the transmission? Should I stop this? Is it OK to do this at any level? | |||||

| I live in an area that snows a lot and many of the dealerships around here are subarus. I am looking at a 19 subaru Forester with 27K miles on it for $28K and a 19 outback with 31K miles on it for $27K. Which car would be better as an everyday vehicle with a comfortable ride? Or would it be better to travel a little bit to look for a Toyota or Honda instead? | |||||

| Hi! Hi Scotty, first I would like to thank you for all your informative videos. They have taught me a lot. I have subaru outback 2017. I know you warned in your video not to get cheap OBD scanner but since it was my first purchase I did not want to sped $100 for decent tool specially because I did not know in advance how useful it would be for beginner like me. I thought $10 ELM327 would be good enough for start. But I had to learn the hard way that "they don't do much" is not the real reason to avoid them. The real reason is that it causes check engine li ... | |||||

| Hey, y'all. I have a 2008 subaru outback l.l bean editon. It's an automatic with a mileage of 115k. I've recently notice a slight clanking noise in the front my car when I drive around.( sounds like the front right tire area/ middle engine area) This sounds comes and goes.
