| Which truck should I buy for my daughter? | 10Relevance | 3 years ago | jslewis67 | Submit Your Question HERE | |
| She wants an f150. We only have a budget of $7k. I prefer a Toyota Tundra. Is a Tundra with 230k miles a better truck mechanically than a f150 with 180k miles? Yes there are a lot of other things to consider, but from a hi level, I'm thinking the Tundra is just a better made vehicle. Thoughts? | |||||

| Hey Scotty, my dads is looking at a really nice 2010 f150 with the 5.4. He likes the older models, but I thought maybe he’d at least bump up one more year for a 5.0. How do those 5.4s hold? Every f150 with that triton engine that I have seen always had that cam phaser sound why is that? | |||||

| 2006 F-150 vs 2008 Grand Cherokee | 10Relevance | 4 years ago | BigSmoke9 | Submit Your Question HERE | |
| I'm looking for a newer used truck after selling my 94' 4Runner. Something newer but also won't cost me a ton. I'm looking at an 06 f150 with 170k miles with the 5.4L V8, and a 2008 Jeep grand Cherokee with the 5.7 Hemi, which has 241k miles. Both vehicles look in very great shape and right now the Ford is looking like the better option since it has lower miles, however the seller for the f150 is asking about $8k and the seller for the Grand Cherokee is asking just a little over $4k. I know a little bit about the Ford Trucks but not much about the Jeeps. Wha ... | |||||

| 1997 Ford f150 4.6L Manual 4WD 130k Miles Good Afternoon all, I am having an issue with my f150. While I am driving down the road only in gear meaning 1-OD/5, I am hearing a clicking/ticking noise. I already have done the spark plugs, wires, exhaust from catback and the manifolds and EGR system. This does not happen while idling or revving in neutral. I checked my ujoints and they have quite a bit of play but I am not sure if that would cause a clicking/ticking. What do you think? I am quite certain it isnt a performance issue since the power is nice, and ... | |||||
| Answer to: What the right pickup truck? | 10Relevance | 4 years ago | f150geek | Submit Your Question HERE | |
| You will be paying a premium for a Toyota Truck. If you are going to keep it forever then get one. But if you are going to trade in every few years its a waste of money. I wouldn't mind a cheaper second hand f150. Ford/Gm/Ram can make decent trucks. I had a ram 1500. I got it for 25k brand new. I put 100k miles on it, then in 2021, I sold it back to the dealer for 19k. I had no issues with it. If I had gotten a Toyota I probably would have broken even in today's market. But Im not looking to hold trucks forever so reliability doesn't mean much for several y ... | |||||

| How to make 2016 Ford F-150 last another 100,000 miles | 10Relevance | 4 years ago | SteveL | Submit Your Question HERE | |
| Scotty, I'm on my 3rd f150 and currently have a loaded 2016 f150 Lariat with the 5.0 V8. I have 72,000 miles on it and have decided to keep this one. I usually trade-in at this milage however, I'm unwilling to pay $70,000 for a new one. It's in excellent condition, well maintained, and it's used as my daily driver at around 50 miles a day. I want to run this one for a long time. Any tips or recommendations for making this truck last another 100,000 miles? Thanks, Steve | |||||

| New rams are junk. Used ones are even more junk. Had a 2014 v8 f150 with the 6 speed and it was running great with 150,000 miles but had to trade it in for work. Stay away from ecoboost with f150 | |||||
